Summary of Accomplishments

·         Provided construction project planning and scheduling training to more than 400 trainees including US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), and local Afghan contractors in Afghanistan Engineering District.  Created, and implemented procedure for evaluating contractor Requests for Equitable Adjustments for USACE in Afghanistan.

·         Completed, the Baseline Construction Schedule for $1.2b Maynard H. Jackson International Terminal – Atlanta Airport. Integrated 23 subcontractor schedules into one dynamic master schedule. Managed monthly schedule updates and reports including data integration from subcontractor monthly status updates.

·         Managed the simultaneous tracking of Budget & Cost for Atlanta Airport’s CONRAC (Consolidated Rental & Parking), and CPTC (Central Passenger & Terminal Complex) construction projects; $960m total budget portfolio.

·         Created cost-loaded construction Baseline Schedule for $700m Supreme & Family Court Building; 330 Jay Street, Brooklyn New York City.

·         Managed construction Planning & Scheduling activities for $300m Grand Central Terminal Renovation Project; 42nd Street, New York City.


Background

Chi has more than 22 years of combined project controls, architecture, and construction development experience.  Chi has been involved in construction planning and scheduling, construction cost engineering, construction logistics engineering, and general construction project management for several job sites including many landmark projects in the United States, and Afghanistan. 

Chi functioned as the Scheduling Manager with Holder Moody Manhattan Hunt on the Maynard H. Jackson $1.2 billion International Terminal Complex project.  Chi also was the Sr. Cost Engineer providing construction budget and cost engineering services for the $5.4 billion Atlanta Airport’s Hartsfield Jackson Development Program. 

 

As a contractor with TRS/Fluor, Chi is currently a Sr. Project Controls Specialist providing construction planning and scheduling support to the $1 Billion Life Sciences Plasma Fractionation facility in Covington, GA.
